Service Description
Doula Support Services provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. Services may include: • Prenatal education and birth planning • Continuous labor support • Comfort measures and advocacy assistance • Postpartum guidance and emotional support Each service experience is customized to the client’s needs and availability. A consultation is required prior to confirmation of services.
Cancellation Policy
Mama Kawsay Birthing & Wellness Co.™ All doula services require a consultation prior to booking. Services are not confirmed until a signed agreement and non-refundable deposit are received. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure availability around your estimated due date. Remaining balances must be paid according to the agreed-upon payment schedule. Failure to complete payments may result in cancellation of services. Doula services are non-medical and include emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth. Doulas do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical care and do not replace licensed healthcare providers. Clients remain responsible for all medical decisions made with their care team. Doula services include an on-call period surrounding the estimated due date, as outlined in the service agreement. While every effort is made to attend births as planned, circumstances such as rapid labor, emergencies, or unforeseen events may affect attendance. In such cases, a qualified backup doula may be provided when available. All deposits are non-refundable. If services are canceled by the client, refunds for unused services (excluding the deposit) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Mama Kawsay Birthing & Wellness Co.™ reserves the right to discontinue services if safety concerns, boundary violations, or policy breaches occur. Clients agree to communicate changes in health status, birth plans, or location promptly and to maintain respectful communication throughout the service relationship. All personal and health-related information is kept confidential and used solely for providing doula services, except where disclosure is required by law. By booking doula services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to this policy.
