Service Description

Are you trying to confirm if a person is your grandparent or establish paternity, but the father is not available for testing? A Grandparent DNA Test might be the solution you need. What is a Grandparent DNA Test? The DNA Grandparentage Test is designed for situations when the alleged father cannot be tested. Instead, the test can be administered to the grandmother, the grandfather, or both, to assess the likelihood of them being the biological grandparents of a grandchild. Importantly, there is no age restriction for DNA testing, allowing the test to be conducted on individuals ranging from infants to adult grandchildren. Uses of Grandparent DNA Test Results Grandparent DNA test results can be utilized similarly to a paternity test in several contexts: 1. Social Security Benefits: Establishing genetic relationships can be crucial for claiming certain benefits. 2. Inheritance Claims: Proof of biological relation can be necessary for inheritance disputes. 3. Immigration Cases: DNA results may support applications for family-based immigration processes. Limitations and Options This test is primarily intended for personal knowledge and cannot be used for court proceedings. However, if you need the results for legal purposes, you can opt for an **Add-On Chain of Custody service for an additional fee, which ensures the results are admissible in court. By understanding the scope and limitations of the Grandparent DNA Test, you can make informed decisions about the best approach for your familial inquiries.
